Chicago
In less than 150 years Chicago has risen from a swamp to become the USA's third largest city, birthplace of the skyscraper, home of the world's largest building, Sears Tower. Visits start at the water Tower Centre or maybe admire the 29 mile panorama from the top of the Sears Tower. Stroll around the Chicago Arts Institute, Museum of Science & Industry, the Adler Planetarium or the Shedd Aquarium before enjoying the shopping delights of the 'Magnificent Mile' (Michigan Avenue). At nightfall, perhaps, choose between the the best in classical blues or jazz and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
